30 pages; Fine condition. Stapled wraps. No creases. Solid, clean. An excellent gift! Great illustrations by C. Lee Healy. This book is Science Fiction Studies 1, published in 1975. Part of the essay has appeared in the British Journal Foundation. No 4, July 1973 in an article called "Can God Fly? Can He Hold Out His Arms and Fly? From Introduction: What follows is essentially an overview of Dick's Fiction, as I see it. I have not been concerned to do a detailed story-by-story analysis of this author's voluminous work; nor have I attempted much in the way of assessing literary merit. It seemed to me the significance of Dick's work is to discover and lay forth the basic themes and style that unify his writings and reveal his world-view.
